what does speech language communcation mean?
 
need a little help on understanding what this means on unit 068 question

1.1 Explain the following terms

• Speech -
• Language -
• Communication -
• Speech, language and communication needs -

what does it exactly want me to explain about it, im completly stressed and confussed and help will be fantastic :With love:

Hi, these are terms that differ slightly from each other.

Unit 068 is city and guilds coding for the unit EYMP 5

Take a look through the Tutor's powerpoint materials this will give you the guidance needed

Speech - is considered to be an ability to articulate and express ideas, thoughts through vocalised sound and also as an individual's own unique style of speaking where disability or impairment are involved eg. gesturing and signing

Language is an agreed system or method that forms an underpinning way to understand the information others and self are saying/providing.

Communication is the act of sending and receiving information.

Hi
I'm half way through my course, & need to do a table, of adapting style of communication for
a shy & nervous child
speaking to a child who stammers
speaking to a child who has been rude to a member of staff
speaking to a parent for whom english is a 2nd language
& speaking to a child who is angry
any help with this would be most apprectiated
