help college expectations
 

can you tell me if you are all doing your NvQ with college. The help you give to answers is great but for my college never enough.They want lots of quotes and theorists. now we have been told the answers have to be in an induction booklet and powerpoint ( our assignment) tis is not an option.to cover nearly all of 401 and lots of 402. so all my answers so far have either to be written again into the booklet or powerpoint :bawling:

I havent done an NVQ, my recent EYFD course work was very much linking your thinking/practice to what you had read...therefore including theorists and quoting from what you had researched was crucial...we too had to do powerpoint presentations...I was terrified at the thought of doing these:hissyfit:....what I found really helpful was asking a study buddy or maybe a very kind friend:cheerful:to read what you had written...keep focused and you will get thru' this:D

we have a 3 hour session once a fortnight to go through a unit, and our assessor visits us to observe, only had one observation since we started in may. we arent based at a college but registered with a local nvq centre.
we were told it wasnt much writing, but it hasnt worked out that way.
we havent done any powerpoint presentations we have one assignment for 403 which is k4d807 which seems very daunting and loads of writing and research.:dizzy:
