Hi, a warm welcome to the site and best wishes with your course xx
If you have access to the level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner handbook pages 68+ will help. You need to identify that this is the current legislation and guidance for safeguarding, promoting welfare, security and confidentiality:
Information sharing advice for safeguarding practitioners What to do if you’re worried a child is being abused: advice for practitioners Keeping children safe in education Hope this helps xx |

Hi everyone but i'm new on here and was woundring if anyone could help me. I'm stuck on one question:
What legislation and guidance do you follow in relation to safeguarding and child protection and what are your responsibilities in relation to the settings policies and procedures around these? [K5, K6, K7, K24, K26] [U1: 1.1, 1.2, 2.3] Identify: • Name legislation and guidance around safeguarding and child protection. Outline: • Your own settings policies and procedures around safeguarding and child protection. Explain: • Your own responsibilities and how you would implement the safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures. • How you would access these policies and procedures. Could someone help me. Thank you |
