Optional Unit CYPOP1 question 5.1

Hello All!!

After having a week break from studying I've decided to put my youngest to bed early this evening and crack on with the next unit which is my first optional unit. The question is 'Explain the primary importace of carers in the lives of babies and young children' I've jotted down some notes which include secure attachment to enable their child to feel secure build self esteem, confidence and wellbeing and providing love and personnal care.

Just wondering if I'm on the right road or not. :reading:

Many thanks Claire

yep you are on the right track remember tho this level 4 unit needs a Lot of references and theoretical based writing so bowlby ainsworth and then someone like bronfennbrennar and the system round the child. plus 3 or 4 more. connect everything to current practice and if i remember rightly this unit is analyse and evaluate? so check you are doing that the explanations are in your pack

Thank you so much. Just looking at the unit though, Cache Level 3 Diploma CYPW CYPOP1 - Work with babies and young children to promote their development and learning and it states unit level 3 and the assessment criteria is the learner can explain the primary importance of carers in the lives of babies and young people.

Will get on with it today. Thanks again Claire
