Job interview help please

I have a job interview next Tuesday for a Deputy manager playworker

The interview will take 1.5 hours, I have been told It will consist of an in-tray and planning activity

Has anyone had any experience of the above this is my first management interview and I have no idea what to expect

Any help will be much appreciated as I want to be fully prepared for my interview

Many thanks

Hi, have you been able to look at the different admin tasks involved with the playwork position you've applied for? in-tray could involve new taking phone calls, responding to emails, new registrations, payments, update information for contact details.

To plan activities inline with the setting's current format you'd need to be familiar with what they have and do. As this is the interview stage it could be useful to keep things as simple as possible, explain how monitoring a child's development would/wouldn't (depending on the setting) feed into the difficulty level of a planned activity. If structured activities are appropriate, the supervision that could be necessary and how evaluation informs any furure planning.

Theres a sample activity planner on this thread if it helps, edit it as you want.

Best wishes for Tuesday, let us know how it goes :) xx
