The Features of an environment that promotes the development of children
Hi there,
I have to list general aspects of the environment which can help to promote the development of children and young people and give specif examples. I'm a little bit stuck with the examples. I would appreciate any help. Thank you  |
Hi, welcome to silkysteps.
The search page will help you find threads already made, enter keywords or phrases from the unit criteria. These will help with unit 24 / CYP 3.2's environmental features http://www.silkysteps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12861 http://www.silkysteps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15563 Best wishes |
I've already checked the previous threads on this subject but they don't have specific examples and that's what I really need.
Thank you anyway, This forum is being a great help for me. |
Hi, if you use the list of features -
• Stimulating and attractive • Well planned and organised • Personalised and inclusive • Encouraging and practising participation • High quality policies in place and followed • Regulatory requirements met • Varied • Meeting individual and group needs • Providing appropriate risk and challenge • Involving parents and carers where appropriate to setting or service and examine your setting or placement's own unique environment you'll be able to find the examples you need. Best wishes |
