Simple Tulip

A quick and simple tulip for spring, it doesn't take too long so the little 'uns won't get bored!

Cut the 'cup' part off an egg box, paint it your desired colour, poke a hole through the bottom with a sharp pencil, push a straw (green) throught the hole and hold in place with a blob of yellow plasticene.:cheerful:

If you glue the cup to a petal shape backround and paint it all yellow - hey presto! you have a daffodil.:cheerful:

talking about tulips.if you want them to last and stand tall take a pin and push it through the stem an inch from base of flower. Do it again so that you have a prick North to south and east to west or how er you want to say it. This really does work.

Excellent tip Patsy, I'll give that a go, it'll make a nice change not having tulips laid on the windowsill!!
