303 Principles of safeguarding policies and procedures in early years settings

I am currently producing the Training resource for Task B.
It asks for the wider concept of safeguarding children for the setting, giving examples of best practice.
I have gone though the wider concept but i am struggling with the examples of best practice.
Does anyone have any advise? :question help

Hi, I am currently doing this task too so not sure how much help this will be!!

So the wider concept you will have explained child protection and then the range wants you to cover FGM, risk assessments etc so i have taken best practice to mean the settings actions and policies that are in place. So I'm just writing about dieting and i have linked it to my own policy and how we meet individual needs allergies, intolerance, medical and religious. Then i have wrote about my setting following the 'eat well guide' portion control and food variety. How i work with parents giving dietary advice and how I meet their childs needs. Not just good practice but a legal requirement of the EYFS.

I hope that has helped in some way!!! This assignment is a nightmare lol
