Hi, has your tutor provided any materials for you to do this?

In addition to information about legislation and national guidelines, you'll need the EYFS framework (if you work in england) your setting's safeguarding policy/ies which should link to the procedures for safeguarding - the way things happen in the setting to ensure everyone remains safe and healthy.

For example 1.2aa - Arrival and departure of children

Does your setting have a staff member greeting parents and children when they arrive so that visitors are known, booked in? (fire regulations) and how does the setting monitor who children are collected by when it's time to leave. Are entrances to the setting locked after arrivals and departures to prevent unauthorised entry?

EYFS page page 30 3.62 Providers must only release children into the care of individuals who have been notified to the provider by the parent

Hth, welcome to the site xx

Hi it's a little more indepth than that. You need to look at what the legislation for each one is, how that links to guidelines and then how in turn, your setting's procedures (or your local authority/council's) reflect that.

Can you use any study materials that your tutor has given you for this? xx
