Upsetting parents by breaking confidentiality?
 

I need to explain to my tutor the conficts/dilemmas that could arise after confidentiality has been broken (with examples).

I cant think of any examples - it is doing my head in.

Can someone please help??

I keep trying to think what would I do if one of my parents came to collect their child every Friday late and smelling of alcohol? Who would I contact? Should I say something to the parent? If reported to socialcare what would the parents response to myself be?

Any other ideas folks?????
