aarrgghhh cant get it to dowload, it is really slow?? and then stops

Ruthierhyme 01-27-2007 01:25 PM

Sarah try right clicking on the link and 'Save target as'

Fingers crossed it should save straight to your pc (where you tell it !!) & you can then open it in the usual way with word.

sharon22 01-27-2007 01:38 PM

i cant download it either!

Ruthierhyme 01-27-2007 01:42 PM

Hmm .. I can only think it's to do with your PC's Firewall & or antivirus blocking Word's connection to the internet !

Right clicking and saving to your harddrive should solve this !?

Thanks Ruth. I, too, was having trouble downloading this documents, but followed your suggestion and downloaded whole document to my hard drive in less than 20 secs! Cheers. This really is a super working document and have saved to floppy as well (just in case!!!! lol).
