It really does just go on and on and on! I answered TDA 3.2 4.1 please see answer for and listed a page number i thought i had answered the question on my safeguarding assignment :) Apparently if we have answered it in another asignment we do not need to re write it!
------------------------------------------------- Quote from page 23 of the STL level 3 handbook Know about the legislation affecting schools Schools as with any other organisations, are obliged to operate under current legislation. Although you may not need to know about these in depth, it is helpful to have some idea about why schools will need to work in a particular way, or why they have draw up particular policies or documents. Some of the key pieces of legislation which you should know about are; Data Protection Act 1998 UN Convention on Rights of the Child 1989 Education Act 2002 Children Act 2004 Childcare Act 2006 Freedom of information Act 2000 Human Rights Act 1998 Special Educational Needs (SEN) Code of practice |
