Can anyone help me i have tried to start this unit but can't get my head around it.

this is an intensive unit which is absolutely vital and can only be achieved by research and reading. you need to go to the nspcc website and read. afraid there are no shortcuts with sg without a clear and current knowledge you will not be able to ensure you are meeting the childrens needs.
