Analyse the impact of biological and environmental factors on children development
Hi
Can anyone help with these questions. I have started by explaining what is meant by biological and environmental factors but am stuck when it comes to the ANALYSING part (previous questions where we have had to analyse meant giving pros and cons and I am really stuck on this)- can anyone help or give me any examples of what to write here please - or where to look. Am doing the course all on-line and have hit a brick wall. |
Hi, the verbs thread lists analyse as - Break the topic down into separate parts and examine each part. Show how the main ideas are related and why they are important.
Quote from page 46 of the level 3 Early Years Educator handbook The contexualised cchild It is important to contextualise the child when studying child development. By looking at child development in context we recognise that the biological part of development (physical development and genetic factors) is integrated with the cultural part of development (social, cultural, intellectual and linguistic factors) Researchers now prefer to talk about the contextualised child because development is profoundly influenced by the child's cultural environment, and by the people he or she meets. Also the ideas, language, communication, feelings, relationships and other cultural elements which children experience have a profound influence on their development. Biological and environmental factors (non-genetic) poverty and deprivation family environment and background personal choices looked-after children education With these factors now being identified the pages go on to describe, examine and discuss each of the factors individually so that during the reading you see how they are all relate to each other and can analyse the impact of them. http://www.silkysteps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20229 If you use the search page and some keywords from the criteria you'll find other threads that may help.
