EYMP 2 or Unit 065 - promote learning and development in the early years
Hi, welcome to silkysteps,
3.1 Explain how practitioners promote children’s learning within the relevant early years framework This outcome is assessed in your workplace environment so will involve how your setting does its planning, what areas there are for play or how the inside & outside are setup/laid out for children to play, learn & develop eg. water area, dough, sand, soil, role play, dance, music, cookery, whole body - running, rolling, climbing, riding, fine motor - threading, pincer grip activities, scissors, table top interests, construction, books, scribing tools and how the setting organisies activities that support the framework - if England's eyfs? ... within the current six areas of learning - CD, PD, CLL, KnUW, PSRN, PSED What celebrations and events do you enjoy in the setting that supports culture, community & sense of belonging, and how you ask parents/carers to be involved and for you to be involved with them. The poster for eyfs may be a good way to see how your setting plans to fulfill .. eg. active learning, by following children's interests so learning is relevant, personal, engaging and adults are able to help develop and listen to the ideas children have & share .. this is what i wrote:
3.1 Explain how practitioners promote children’s learning within the relevant early years framework • Effective organization and management • Sensitive intervention • Following child’s interests and stage of development • Supporting and facilitating • Modelling • Coaching • Providing balance of child initiated and adult initiated play and activity Link language with physical movement in actions songs and rhymes also use practical experiences such as role play, cookery and gardening. Children can express themselves nonverbally; encourage children to express themselves and their ideas through a range of body movements, dance and songs. Develop children’s phonological awareness, particularly through rhyme and alliteration of the alphabetical code. |
