Click each board link and print (or save the picture to your computer). Trim each page with scissors lay thme edge to edge as shown above. Use sticky tape to secure them together. You may find it easier to tape the back of the paper so that people can still use pen in the boxes!
How to use the sheets.
Treasure hunt
For a fun way to raise a little money. Print out and assemble the sheets as above. With pencils, lightly draw a picture over the sheets - this can be along the theme of your event eg. A chick & egg for Easter. Ask someone who is unassociated with your event - and won't be taking part in the game to choose a coordinate square eg. F3 Write this on a piece of paper and put it into an envelope. Get the same person to write their signature across the envelope seal. this will then show any tampering with! At your event - display your winning prize and have the price per go clearly shown. Ask the children to draw up a poster before hand? Write the customers name, phone number or address etc - so that they can be contacted later if they win but are unable to stay to the end of your event. Once (hopefully!) all your squares are sold......... Open the sealed envelope (in front of a witness) and announce the winning square coordinate and the Name of the person who won!
Raffle board
As an alternative to raffle tickets use the made up treasure hunt board. Make up a poster of what the raffle is for, how much it is per square and what the prizes are. Travel around with your board, a pen & a money pot. If you intend to sell to the general public - door to door, you should include your charity number and have a letter of authoristaion from your named Chairperson or similar. Write your customers name, telephone number, address etc in the square they have bought. Once they have all been sold - cut up the board into individual squares Put them all into a bucket and shake vigorously. Ask an independant person to pull out a square and read aloud the winner! Repeat this for however many prizes you have to award.
