Print ~ Cut out & laminate
Use this recipe and once the dough is rolled out ~ lay the Gingerbread man on top and cut around the out side.
Pattern ~
Cut out the gingerbread size required from brown / tan coloured felt.
Use a blanket stitch around the outside edge.
Leave a small gap and stuff with toy filling.
Secure strongly or sew/glue facial features and buttons etc.
Christmas tree Decoration ~
Once the template is cut from paper, card or fabric ~ decorate with glitter and sequins.
Hole punch a gap at the top and thread a short length of string through it.
Hang from a frond/branch on you tree.
Collage base
Great for free collage or as a guided idea for the children to creat their own Gingerbread person shape.
Offer ~ Buttons, Black & red felt circles (to represent the currants & cherries?) sequins
Colouring Picture
Tracing outline activity.
Playdough Activity cards.
Print and Laminte the template.
Give the children brown playdough and collage items such as large buttons, buckles, poppers, pipe cleaners etc to build and decorate a Gingerbread person on top of the template.
