Small sweet – petit four cases
Tin to stand them in
Plain Aluminium Foil

 FOR THE ROBIN

Double Sided sticky pads
Pens for facial features
Gold String or thread
Set of printed templates
Coloured card ~ Brown, Red & Yellow
Ribbon-thread to wrap the Chocolate present in.

TO MAKE THE CHOCOLATE Present gift
Making the Chocolates - Step by Step

Melt the chocolate using the instructions on the packet.

Lay the small cases in the tin

Pour in the melted chocolate until it is about 1 cm deep.

Place in the fridge to set.

Remove and unwrap the chocolate for its case.

Cut a square of approx 11cm square Aluminium foil

 Wrap the chocolate in it.

Decorate by tying a length of ribbon or thread around.

YOU CAN USE Sweet cases or Cake cases, depending on your Resources.

 To make the ROBIN

Print all the templates and cut out in coloured card.

Brown - head & body
Yellow - Beak
Red - Tummy

Fold the beak in half and carefully glue to the head in a curved position.
This will make it stick out and appear 3D.

Fit the Robins beak ..

  Make your own facial features.

Make a hole in the top part of the body ~ where marked on the template.
Tie through a short length of string so that you can hang the robin once finished.
Hole punch the top of the body - tie the string through.

Attach the head to the top of the body with a section of the Double sided sticky pad.
Stick the red tummy piece to the front of the Robin.
Using another double sided sticky pad attach the decorated Chocolate to the front of the Robin’s red tummy .
You May find it easier to wrap the Foil chocolate in a layer of Plastic food wrap – too prevent the foil from ripping.
Fold the wings over and with a small piece of tape position them so that they are ‘holding the present !

 Assemble the whole Robin ..

 Other activity uses

Hang them on your Christmas Tree
 or as tags on presents
Stick a Chocolate Robin to the front of your Christmas Cards
Purchase Chocolate discs or coins and make the Robin holders to fundraise at your Christmas fayre ...

 Enjoy ..
