 For The Jingle

Scraps of satin ribbon.
Cat collar Jingle bell.

 For The Bows
Tatan paper/ribbon/fabric
Calico or cotton fabric

Use Blanket stitch to join together the two Star patterns.
 Sew around the outer edge.
Leave one edge open to stuff with the toy filling ..

Fill the star to give it a plump appearance.

Once filled finish the star by sewing the gap closed.
Make the ribbon and Jingle bell by assembling them together in the order you  like and over sewing the tops together.
Attach this part to the top of the star.

Sew together a selection of ribbons and a Jingle bell !

Rip thin strips of the tartan country & calico/cotton fabric to give it a frayed edge.
Tie two bows - one from each.
Secure the biggest bow at the back of the star point with a little clear adhesive glue.
Repeat with the smaller bow & position at the front - over the ribbon tops.
Secure them all in place by sewing with more embroidery thread.
Before fastening off - create the loop that the star will hang from.

Decide what the star will be used for and name / label or place wherever appropriate !
