Prepare the rattle part of the bear before offering craft to the children. 

Photocopy the bear template & cut out as many as necessary.
1. Place a few small beads, seeds etc into the centre of an upturned bottle lid. 
2. For ease ~ lay the card bear on the top of the lid and flip over ....
3. Holding the lid in place with your fingers - Carefully use a glue gun to attach the outer edge of the bottle top to the marked area of the bear's tummy.
4. allow it to cool a little then put another line of glue around the edge of the lid and top 
5. Lay the cotton ball/pad on the top and press down to secure it in place.

WITH THE CHILDREN ..

 Display the collection of fabrics and discuss their attributes.
 Are they shiny, dull, silky smooth or rough?
 Do they cut easily or tear?
 Look at the bottles the spices/essences or oils come in. 
 What are the shapes
 Are they transparent/see through glass, plastic or other material.
 What is inside the pots ~ a powder, liquid or crystallised fragrance?

6. Let the children choose the Scent they prefer and place it/drops onto their own Bear (cotton pad )
7. Using the fabrics collage the bear's front and back.
