Curly Tails ~ Curly tails for the pigs. Use materials that the children can curl, twist and turn - around their own finger, a pencil or other object that will gve a curled 'piggy tail shape. Pipe cleaners and plastic coated ties, curling ribbon and wool dipped in pva glue & left to dry.. rolled and curled pink playdough could also be an interesting activity ! As a contrasting activity take items that won't curl and ask the children if they can tell which will do what !
Gnome's Fishing net ~ Make Gnome a fishing net ~ UPDATED 12th July 07 Netting, string, small wooden and plasic poles can be used to make the nets for Gnome to checkout how many fish are in the pond!
Where's Snail's flower stalk ? Snail needs a flower stalk to climb! Green and Brown card and possibly playdough ! Glue real leaves/stalks to the page to build up a habvitat environment for snail.
