Pumpkin Spice
A country styled way to make and store your Spice mix.
Use it to Spinkle over tables that are planned for playdough activities or the Dough itself - pumpkin cookies, pie, bread or Scones ..

If you have time explore how the Cinnamon Bird was once the given reason for this aromatic spice appearing in the local stores ..

Pumpkin Spice Jar .. country storage

RECIPE

These quantities make a 1/2 a small jam jar full of spice.
Use a sprinkler for table top activities or for less accurate flavouring of foods ..

4 Tsps Cinnamon
2 Tsps Ground Ginger
1 Tsp All spice
1 Tsp Ground Nutmeg

Spices - Cinnamon, Ginger, Allspice and Nutmeg

Colour or Black and White

Put together your spice label by printing the chosen image above.

Cut out - colour in & decorate if wished..

Laminate the pumpkin and text box separately
OR

Glue the text box to the front of the pumkin and laminate ..

Cut out again.

Glue the text box to a piece of brown parcel paper and rip the outer edge close to the text box edges.

Glue the back of the brown paper to the front of the pumpkin.

Finished label - tie to the upper rim of Jar ..

Hole punch at the base of the stalk and thread through short lengths of curling ribbon.

Add a length of twine or ribbon to tie the label to the jar ...

To decorate your Jar

Use a length of frayed calico fabric and with the glue gun attach a strip to the body of the jar - and a circular piece to the lid.

Tie a bow with same lengths of orange ribbon and twine - glue in place
