Competition Entry Terms and conditions
GENERAL Rules ~ Terms & conditions that cover all Silkysteps competitions.
These rules are for the benefit of all interested parties and to try and prevent confusion or upset.
Competitions are held on silkysteps because they are enjoyable. They help promote preschool activity ideas and offer prizes that I hope will be used with Children in a Preschool, school reception or home environment.

T's & C's
 Only one entry per physical address.
NO purchase is necessary to enter any of the competitions.
Competition closes at Midnight GMT on the day & year specified.
YOUR UK postcode, area or ZIP code MUST be included in your original entry ~ for reasons of time and administration, submissions cannot be processed without this information.
Winners will be picked at random and notified by email within 48 hours of the closing date.
Winners chosen name, Country and county will be published on the competition page for future reference, compliance and congratulations.
 We reserve the right to refuse publishing a winners personal/business or group website address.
Winners cannot request cash or an other prize alternative.
Worldwide entry is allowed ~ unless otherwise stated.
When an international entrant wins and finds fault - Please contact us to let us know why.
Please remember UK, USA and other Country law's are all different ~ Silkysteps abides by UK law and asks its competition entrants to please respect this when they enter into the competitions.
Except for a sponsored competition - Entrant details will never be passed on.
Sponsors will be sent the winner/s address and name details for the sole purpose of sending on the prize.
Information submitted for competition entry is NEVER used for any marketing purposes.
Delivery & receipt problems
We do not have control over the postal service.
If a prize is not recieved let us know.
Sponsored
If the competition was sponsored we will contact the sponsors to see what is happening.
All routes will be explored to help resolve the situation - entrants must be aware that in these circumstances I cannot guarantee the arrival of a replacement prize or assume responsibility for a prize promoted on behalf of another - my sincere apologies for this. Efforts to prevent or minimise this will always be put in place.
If non delivery persists - Get in touch and ask for the contact details of the party responsible for fulfilling prize commitments.
03.08.2009 It will be a procedural process for us to confirm with the sponsors who has hold of the prizes before agreeing to host and promote a competition on Silkysteps.
This will hopefully avoid negative involvement with the ASA's Adjudication system.

In house
Where the prize is offered by myself - it is likely to be a one off and time to re-source individual prize elements may not be possible.
If the prize is lost in transit a Royal mail compensation claim will be made - RM Compensation form
Once processed an alternative replacement prize will be organised and sent on accompanied by an explanation.
The cost of a replacement prize will be equal to the original - where the comparrision is contested an itemised summary of the competition prize's expense will be sent.
Winning entrant/s can request a copy of the Proof of postage slip at any time.
I can only offer my sincere apologies in this situation and thank you for your support.

When a prize is provided by another company and sent to us for forwarding to the winner:
We reserve the right to substitute the prize for one we feel is equivalent.
This is in the highly unlikely event that the sponsoring company fails to send us the prize specified.
Prize substitution is at our discretion and winners will be notified as to the situation.
Transparency
Whenever possible the company/organisation that supplied the prize or assisted in making arrangements for the competition will have a credit acknowledgement notice on the competition page.
Silkysteps is not responsible for after sales service in the event of the prize having a fault.
Please contact the prize supplier noted on the competition page or the prize's / product manufacturer.

Every care is taken to try and ensure everyone enjoys these competitions.
