Use this Winter selection of 8 photos to look at, discuss and craft on.
Introduce the children to concepts of cold, ice, frost, and the creatures that live outside or that hibernate throughout wintertime !
The Photos have been taken for your enjoyment and to give the children a closer look at the work going on around them – from Icy crystal formations to imagining life in the colds of winter!
Written in narrative form so that you can read it aloud,
use the individual pages as Activity sheets or as Craft ideas.
Show the children how they can look around themselves when out on a
walk .. give examples of things they may see and things to look out for.
Eg. Icy puddles, footprints on the ground, the colour of the sky.
If you get the opportunity to snap shot a local walk near you ~ build up a sequence of photographs that the children may be familiar with.
